Description:

Atlantic All-Weather Windows Ltd. required a 22,000 square foot addition to their existing Amherst facility. This project was initially a lump sum format but was switched to a construction management model after tender. This project saw two phases of the warehouse and production facility expansion built at the same time on two sides of the existing pre-engineered building. The facility expansion included four new loading docks and five new level loading bays. The project also included a perimeter road for delivery vehicles. Due to unsuitable soil conditions, the project required Geopier ground improvements to be installed.
