David Savoie CEO

David Savoie is a visionary leader that promotes collaboration and innovation at every turn. David took over ownership of the family run business in 2015 and has quickly grown the company exponentially. David could be considered the accidental construction CEO. In his younger days, he studied arts in university and then went off to Los Angeles to work in the film industry. He continues to put his arts background to good use, ensuring he brings creativity and strong communication to the business on a daily basis. David is an active member in YPO Atlantic Canada and sits on the YPO Canada Regional Board. He recently relocated to Halifax, NS to help open our second location in Dartmouth, NS.


Marilou Savoie (P.Eng, P.GSC) President

With Acadian since 2005, Marilou has just recently taken over as President of Acadian Construction. As Project Manager, Director of Construction and Vice President, Marilou has overseen the construction of some of the region’s best known buildings including Bass Pro Shop (Moncton), Acura of Moncton, Dieppe City Hall, Dieppe Operations Center and the Midland terminal expansion (Dieppe). Marilou is a leader in customer relationships and operational efficiency. She’s a Professional Engineer, a graduate of the Wallace McCain Institute and holds a Gold Seal Certificate in Project Management. Marilou spends her spare time at the hockey rink following her goalie son.


Dany Duguay (PTech) Director of Construction

With over 20 years of experience, Dany has built his career leading commercial, retail, industrial, institutional, and P3 projects across Atlantic Canada and beyond. A graduate of Engineering Building Technology with a PTech designation, he began his career as a Project Manager, progressing through senior management roles before becoming Director of Construction. Dany’s hands-on approach and strong leadership ensure projects are delivered efficiently, with a focus on clear communication, accountability, and practical problem-solving. Notable clients he has worked with include Suncor, the Government of Ontario (OPP), the University of New Brunswick (UNB), PCS Mine, Brandt, and the YMCA. Outside of work, Dany stays active through biking, running, and other activities. He’s also an avid snowmobiler and enjoys tackling small renovation projects for family and friends.


Peter Bourque (P.GSC) – Director of Estimating

With over 30 years of experience, including 10 years on site and the remainder in the roles of project manager, estimator, and business development, Peter brings a multitude of experience as the Director of Estimating. Clients that he has worked with on a repeat basis include Cabela’s, JDI, Walmart, and many more. Peter is a graduate of Civil Engineering Technology Construction Management and has a Gold Seal in Estimating. When he is not finding the best value for clients Peter enjoys coaching hockey and fly fishing.


Fabian MacLeod (CSC) Director of Safety & Operations

A leader in health and safety compliance, Fabian is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing the safety of all employees and clients across all of our work locations. Fabian brings significant training and experience to the role. He is ASP Construction Health and Safety Certified, is a certified trainer for the New Brunswick Joint Health and Safety Committee and is a supervisor of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information system. When Fabian is not overseeing Acadian’s operations, you can find him on his farm working with horses, camping and supporting his kids in their recreational activities.


Stephane Cormier (CPA) – Controller

With over 25 years of finance and accounting leadership across various industries, Stephane brings a wealth of expertise to Acadian Construction, overseeing financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and tax compliance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance and has successfully completed the CPA Common Final Examination (CFE). Outside of work, Stephane serves as a volunteer board member for People for Animal Wellbeing, the largest animal shelter in New Brunswick, and enjoys sports, traveling, and visiting his two daughters.


Amy-Lise Arseneault – Human Resources Manager

Amy-Lise is an experienced Human Resources professional with over a decade of supporting organizational growth, fostering positive workplace cultures, and helping teams perform at their best. Before joining Acadian Construction, Amy-Lise led HR teams in both corporate and consulting environments, implementing people strategies that aligned seamlessly with business goals and improved operational efficiency. Amy-Lise holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Human Resources Management, and multiple professional certifications in leadership, succession planning, and talent development. Outside of work, she is passionate about wellness, continuous learning, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen community and workplace well-being.
